Bi-Lo had announced plans to shutter several stores throughout the region. While this was never officially confirmed for the location at Bees Ferry Crossing, our Lee & Associates Charleston team was proactive about presenting the opportunity to many grocery stores to ensure there would be a user ready to backfill the site should Bi-Lo elect to terminate their lease.
Lowes Foods, a rising star in southern grocery store chains, leased the space with plans to take over the space and remodel the store to fit the Lowes Foods’ branding model.
