Lee & Associates Charleston Announces Strategic Promotions

Lee & Associates Charleston, a leading commercial real estate firm in the Lowcountry, announces the promotion of three key team members as part of its continued growth and commitment to developing internal talent. Hunter Hartley and Alex Whittemore have been elevated to Vice President positions, while Dillon Claffey transitions from Market Researcher to Associate.

“These promotions reflect our firm’s dedication to recognizing excellence and fostering long-term career development,” said Wade Allen, President of Lee & Associates Charleston. “Hunter, Alex, and Dillon have each demonstrated exceptional skill and commitment to our clients. Their advancement strengthens our ability to deliver superior service across all market sectors.”

Hunter Hartley’s promotion from Senior Associate to Vice President acknowledges his significant contributions to the firm’s office and medical office segments. Working alongside Paul Hartley, SIOR, and Managing Principal Bob Nuttall, SIOR, Hunter has established himself as a key player in Charleston’s commercial real estate landscape.

Alex Whittemore advances to Vice President, building upon his success in industrial investment sales, leasing, and Industrial Outdoor Storage (IOS). Since joining Lee & Associates in 2020, Whittemore has distinguished himself by consistently identifying off-market opportunities and delivering optimal results for his clients. Like Claffey, Whittemore began his career as a Market Researcher with the firm, demonstrating the effectiveness of Lee & Associates’ internal development pipeline.

Dillon Claffey’s promotion to Associate marks his transition from Market Research to Brokerage, where he will specialize in industrial and office properties. In his previous role, Claffey supported the brokerage team through market analysis, data visualization, and research expertise, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics that will serve him well in his new position.

“These advancements represent a pivotal moment in our firm’s evolution,” noted Allen. “Each of these professionals brings unique strengths to their new roles – Hunter’s collaborative approach to complex transactions, Alex’s expertise in industrial assets, and Dillon’s analytical background. Together, they exemplify the next generation of Charleston’s commercial real estate market.”

The promotions come during a period of strategic growth for Lee & Associates Charleston, as the firm continues to expand its presence and service offerings across the Lowcountry.
